Our ongoing mission for the I-NOMA NextGen Career Development Day is to provide access for ALL of our tremendously talented membership to tools and resources to help them prepare for the next step in their careers.
Attendees are invited to take part in a round-robin circuit of resume and portfolio reviews with industry professionals, mock interviews with Chicago design firms, and professional headshots.
In past years, participating firms included KOO, LJC, Gensler, Studio Gang, JAQ Corp, Johnson & Lee, Urban Works, and SmithGroup. Each year this is a great opportunity to get one-on-one contact with many prestigious Chicago firms and talk to members about their professional experience.
To ensure you get the most out of this event, attendees are asked to bring 10 copies of their resume and sample portfolio pages. You are welcome to bring a laptop or iPad to share your portfolio digitally, but a presentation screen will not be available for use at most stations.
