Ebone White

Ebone E. White, Assoc. AIA, NOMA, DBIA is a senior construction and capital project delivery leader with over 20 years of experience advancing complex public-sector projects across Illinois. She currently serves as Senior Assistant Director of Project Delivery for the University of Illinois System, providing leadership for large-scale capital initiatives. Her experience spans architecture, construction management, and public administration, with a strong focus on overseeing design and construction while administering public procurement and contracts. Ebone is a two time graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is committed to public service, through project delivery, and mentoring the next generation of professionals in the built environment.
Nimah Mohiuddin

Nimah Mohiuddin is an architectural designer at LJC. She previously served on the I-NOMA board as Student Liaison and helped re-establish NOMASiit during her time in architecture school.
PROJECT PIPELINE
Esther Mumbi

Esther Mumbi is a designer whose work spans architecture, interior design, graphic design, and fashion. Her work is an exploration of how materials and space come together to create engaging experiences. Her perspective, informed by her Kenyan heritage draws connection between African typologies and contemporary approaches.
Beyond her design work, Esther is passionate about introducing architecture to young individuals at the K-12 level. She has dedicated over five years to mentoring middle school and high schools students through various design and architecture workshops. Her commitment to education and mentorship reflects her belief in the power of architecture to shape and inspire our future.

Deonante Sutton

Deonante Sutton is a Master of Architecture candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Illinois School of Architecture, where he is entering his final year of graduate study with an expected graduation in May 2027. Born and rasied in Chicago, Deonante earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois in 2025 before continuing his graduate education. His academic and professional interests center on equitable design, community engagement, sustainable and high performance design, and expanding pathways into the architecture profession. Alongside his studies, he currently serves as an architectural intern at LJC Design and Engineering in Chicago, contributing to a diverse range of design projects while gaining experience across multiple phases of practice.
Beyond the classroom and professional practice, Deonante is deeply committed to mentorship, leadership, and architectural education. He currently serves as Student Engagement Chair for the Illinois Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects and Project Pipeline Co-Chair, where he helps develop design camps that inspire and empower future generations of designers. At the University of Illinois, he is the Student Director for the Illinois School of Architecture Career Expo, connecting students with leading firms and professional opportunities. He also mentors collegiate students by teaching freshman and sophomore architecture design studios, fostering creative growth and supporting students as they begin their architectural education.
